I spent a lot of time in front of my computer surfing through the internet every day. That being the case I am able to observe various interesting things. For ordinary people internet may look like a stable source of information where everything is already set but it is the other way out. Internet is changing all the time and we can encounter new things all the time. Recently, great internet campaign has drawn my attention. It was an anti-smoking campaign connected with problem of cigarettes and people addicted to them. You were able to see advertisements in form of pop-up windows as well as bigger banners on top of various sites on the internet. On those banners there was a burning cigarette along with a caption: Your life is burning out. In my opinion that is a very clever idea presenting this problem and as I have later figured out it was created by web design west midlands. They did the whole thing: idea, graphics and promotion. The cigarette on the ad looked very realistic and they have informed me that they used the video of a real cigarette burning to create this effect. They are hoping to increase the awareness of this problem yet again. In my opinion all those campaigns will never give a good results but it is still worth trying especially if we would be able to see as good ads as those created by web design west midlands.
